Job Description
Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company has an immediate opening for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer in the Houston, Texas office. The candidate will serve as the Principal-in-Charge of projects and will direct, review, and oversee projects and provide guidance to engineering staff. Additional job duties may include:
  • Selecting project managers for projects and directing and assisting the project manager throughout project duration.
  • Interfacing with clients and attend meetings, as necessary.
  • Assuming technical responsibility for project components and providing technical assistance to project managers and engineering staff.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should be a licensed professional engineer in Texas with over 10 years of related experience. A well-rounded background in geotechnical engineering, strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and a track record of successful client relationship and service are required. Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, and problem solving skills.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering; M.S. Degree in geotechnical engineering is preferred.
