Job description

Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to support a mission-focused federal IT program in Washington DC.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Salary Range: $115,000 - $128,000
Join Everforth ECS Federal as a Network Engineer helping strengthen secure network infrastructure for national security and law enforcement missions. This role offers the opportunity to support critical technical work, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to an expanding mission environment focused on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
The Network Engineer will support the design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure in a secure federal environment. This includes support for routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, load balancers, VPNs, network monitoring tools, and related technologies that enable reliable and secure mission operations.
This role supports day-to-day network operations, system availability, performance monitoring, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, lifecycle activities, and technical documentation. The Network Engineer will assist with network deployments, patching, tuning, troubleshooting, incident response, change management, and compliance activities to help ensure secure, reliable, and compliant operations across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with experience supporting enterprise networks, resolving network issues, maintaining secure configurations, and working collaboratively with systems, cybersecurity, service desk, and customer teams in a fast-paced federal IT environment.
