Manufacturing Engineer
Direct Hire | $90,000–$110,000+ DOE | Comprehensive Benefits
Hartford Area, CT

The Right Plan. The Right Materials. The Right Time.

Successful manufacturing depends on more than great engineering—it takes someone who can keep production organized, anticipate challenges, and ensure every project has what it needs to move efficiently from planning to completion.

A.R. Mazzotta is partnering with a growing aerospace manufacturer seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate production planning, manufacturing documentation, and workflow. You'll work across multiple departments to ensure materials, work orders, and manufacturing processes stay aligned, helping deliver high-quality products on time.

If you're energized by solving problems, managing priorities, and keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly, we'd like to hear from you.

Position Highlights
  • Direct Hire
  • Competitive salary: $90,000–$110,000+ DOE
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Stable, growing aerospace manufacturer
  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact on production performance

In This Role You'll
  • Coordinate manufacturing work orders from planning through production
  • Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), routers, travelers, and manufacturing documentation
  • Use ERP/MRP systems to organize production flow and maintain accurate manufacturing data
  • Partner with Purchasing to ensure materials and outside services arrive when needed
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to keep projects on schedule
  • Identify production bottlenecks before they impact delivery
  • Recommend improvements that increase efficiency and reduce lead times
Success in This Role Includes
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production planning, industrial engineering, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work orders, and manufacturing documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to solving production challenges
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments
Experience That Sets You Apart
  • Aerospace or precision manufacturing
  • High-mix, low-volume production environments
  • AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
  • Experience supporting outside processing, suppliers, or production scheduling
Why Join This Opportunity?
This is more than a manufacturing engineering position. You'll become a key part of the operation, helping connect Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Production while improving efficiency, supporting on-time delivery, and contributing to the success of a growing aerospace manufacturer.

Convenient commute from Hartford, Wethersfield, Rocky Hill, Newington, Berlin, Cromwell, Glastonbury, East Hartford, West Hartford, Farmington, Manchester, Southington, and surrounding Connecticut communities.

If you enjoy bringing organization to complex manufacturing operations and helping production run at its best, apply today.
