Based in Huntsville, ON, the Civil Engineering Technician will have a wide range of duties assisting in all aspects of Engineering project delivery, with a focus on Civil and Water Resources Engineering. This fall co-op will primarily involve performing and assisting with construction inspection. This position runs from September-December 2026. The wage range for this role is $21.00 - $26.00 hourly.
What You’ll Do:
As part of the TULLOCH Engineering team, you will:
 
  • Performing and assisting with construction inspections on various projects (This will be the primary responsibility for this role.)
  • Support preparation of plans, proposals, specifications, supporting documents, reports, and permit applications
  • Support stormwater management design and other aspects of Water Resources management projects
  • Work in a team to develop Site Plan preparation documents including site services, grading, drainage, and stormwater management
  • Assist with civil engineering design for municipal infrastructure
  • Work in a team on Subdivision development projects

What You Should Bring:
The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a relevant field of study (Civil Engineering, Water Resources). Additionally, you should have:
 
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of OttHymo, MIDUSS, Rational Method, etc., is considered an asset
  • Experience in the use of Total Station and GPS Survey Equipment is considered an asset
  • High motivation with results-oriented focus
  • Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid Class G driver’s licence
