Job Title: Lead Engineer - Civil & Structural
Location : Chicago, Illinois
Duration : 6 - 12 Months
Experience: 12+ Years
Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural design and analysis of industrial structures.
  • Coordinate with clients, structural consultants, and offshore engineering teams.
  • Understand project requirements, gather design inputs, and ensure timely delivery of approved designs.
  • Participate in design reviews, interdisciplinary coordination meetings, and quality checks.
  • Provide local engineering support and contribute to business growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate across US and India time zones as required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of structural design codes: ACI 318, ASCE 7, ANSI/AISC 360, IBC, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with structural analysis and design software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAFE.
  • Basic knowledge of modeling and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, PDMS, and TEKLA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage project deliverables effectively.
  • Preferred Profile: Experienced structural engineering professional with a strong industrial design background, capable of leading coordination efforts and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
