Job description

Standard Job Description
You will be the 3rd Shift Manufacturing Controls/Robotics Engineer Associate for the Robotics Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for delivering cutting-edge automated manufacturing solutions that enable high-rate production of missiles, launch systems, and ground vehicles. As the Manufacturing Controls/Robotics Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for concept, design, and documentation of automated manufacturing equipment that supports site processes and meets production-rate goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve existing electrical controls equipment such as PLCs, AC & DC motors, servo drives, and variable frequency drives.
  • Improve existing controls equipment to enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Develop electrical automation designs from hardware specifications into complete construction packages for fabrication, assembly, checkout, and startup.
  • Create design and documentation in accordance with company and industry standards using Dassault DraftSight or equivalent CAD tools.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering, quality, safety, IT, and other disciplines to deliver best-practice solutions.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
Working knowledge of electrical and logic drawings.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve industrial automation equipment issues.
Knowledgeable of machine electrical design.
Knowledgeable of industrial electronics and electrical components.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must be able to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills
Proficient with MS Office suite.
Communicates well with technical, management, and front line employees.
Ability to meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $52400.00 - $97400.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
