Job description

Job Description:

Marketing moves fast - and it needs an operator who can keep pace with it. As VP, Marketing Operations & Digital Platform, you'll lead the infrastructure behind every Marketing initiative: the technology, automation, data, and program management that turn strategy into execution. You'll own our GTM systems, our martech stack, and pluralsight.com itself - partnering closely with the CMO, CEO, CFO, and leaders across Revenue, Product, IT, and Data to make Marketing faster, sharper, and more accountable.

Who You're Committed to Being:

  • A systems thinker: You see the connections between strategy, technology, and outcomes - and you build the infrastructure that makes those connections reliable.

  • A steady hand in complexity: Competing priorities, executive expectations, ambiguous problems - you bring clarity and calm decision-making when it matters most.

  • A trusted operator: CEOs and CFOs bring you hard questions about investment and risk. You give them straight answers backed by data.

  • A builder of teams: You grow senior leaders, strengthen organizations, and know when to build capability in-house versus bring in a partner.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan: Lead annual and quarterly Marketing planning - priorities, capacity, resourcing, and the operating rhythms that keep everyone aligned and moving.

  • Operate: Own lead scoring, attribution, campaign tracking, and the Marketo-Salesforce integration that powers our GTM engine.

  • Build: Set the martech roadmap and lead Marketing Automation - Marketo, Iterable, deliverability, and platform health - while evaluating where AI and automation create real leverage.

  • Grow: Own pluralsight.com end to end: B2B and B2C journeys, conversion optimization, SEO/AEO/GEO strategy, and platform performance.

  • Deliver: Lead Marketing Program Management, rebuild our Asana infrastructure, and hold cross-functional initiatives accountable to outcomes.

  • Invest: Own the Digital Platform, Martech, and Marketing Ops budgets - vendor strategy, negotiations, and the ROI story you bring to the CMO and CFO.

Experience You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years across Marketing Operations, digital platforms, martech, revenue operations, or program management - with real depth in a B2B SaaS or complex tech environment.

  • A track record of building or transforming a Marketing Operations function, not just running one.

  • Fluency in funnel architecture, attribution, campaign tracking, CRM integrations, and marketing data governance.

  • Experience owning website strategy, digital journeys, analytics, and conversion optimization at scale.

  • Comfort presenting investment decisions and risk directly to CEOs, CFOs, and enterprise leadership.

  • A history of leading blended teams - employees, agencies, contractors, and technology partners - through real change.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years in Marketing Ops, digital platforms, martech, or program management

  • Experience leading leaders and multidisciplinary teams

  • Ownership of technology and operations budgets, vendor strategy, and contracts

  • Experience with privacy, security, and data-governance requirements (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience across both B2B enterprise and B2C / self-service models

  • Hands-on with Adobe Experience Manager, Marketo, Iterable, Salesforce, Asana

  • SEO, AEO, and GEO strategy development

  • Ecommerce, checkout, trials, or product-led growth experience

  • Led a major GTM systems or digital platform transformation

Why you'll love working here:

  • We work in a blended environment that supports collaboration, flexibility, and connection across teams.

  • We are mission-driven, shaping the future of tech upskillling and delivering impact that matters.

  • We foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, where everyone can contribute and thrive.

  • We are always learning, creating an environment where you can take on new challenges, expand your skills, and grow with purpose.

  • Benefits include competitive compensation, bonus eligibility, comprehensive medical coverage, unlimited PTO, wellness reimbursement, professional development funds, and more.
