Job description

Shape the World of Tomorrow

You will play an active role in developing our energy platforms, technical capabilities, and service offerings for utility companies, helping create innovative solutions and strong value propositions for our clients.

You will support clients and internal teams across the energy and utilities sector by applying your expertise in market trends, technology impacts, solution assessment, and benchmarking. Your involvement will span the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements analysis to successful implementation.

You will design and build demos, proofs of concept, and minimum viable products for digital energy use cases across areas such as grid, sales, and service. Using modern development tools and GenAI-enabled approaches, including agentic coding, CI, and testing, you will help transform early ideas into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions.

You will define and design project-specific solutions for sales, service, and grid operations, covering areas such as CRM, billing, pricing, forecasting, planning, logistics systems, and digital data platforms.

You will also contribute to strengthening internal knowledge management by helping build new IT expertise within the energy and utilities domain. This includes creating training materials, preparing presentations for consultants, and developing tailored platform solutions for sales, service, and grid-related needs.

In addition, you will help establish and continuously improve best practices for delivery teams working across the energy and utilities industry.

How You Can Make a Difference

You have successfully completed a degree in Business Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

You bring at least two years of relevant experience in implementing energy utility solutions, gained within an industrial company, software provider, or consulting environment.

You have practical experience with DevOps, release management, environment management, and test management.

You combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in developing and configuring established energy utility software solutions such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Powercloud, SIV, or Wilken.

You have initial experience with sales, service, or grid system landscapes, including core systems, interfaces, and emerging trends in data landscape development.

You possess strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills and are motivated to create meaningful impact. You enjoy working collaboratively toward shared goals and are able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders.

You also have excellent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English.
