The Opportunity
Kb3 Advisors is expanding and seeking driven Energy Advisors who want to build and grow a book of business in the energy advisory industry.
This role is ideal for professionals who are confident engaging with business decision-makers and motivated to develop long-term client relationships. Energy Advisors work directly with commercial and industrial organizations to help them navigate complex electricity and natural gas markets.
At Kb3, advisors operate with a high level of autonomy while leveraging the firm’s platform, supplier relationships, and market expertise to deliver value to clients.

Energy Advisor → Senior Energy Advisor

What You’ll Do
 
  • Develop and grow a portfolio of commercial and industrial clients across deregulated energy markets
  • Identify and engage decision makers through targeted outreach, networking, and market research
  • Advise clients on electricity and natural gas procurement strategies
  • Present pricing strategies and market insights to help clients manage energy risk
  • Manage contract cycles, renewals, and long-term client relationships
  • Leverage Kb3’s technology platform and supplier network to execute energy procurement strategies

Compensation Structure
 
  • W2 Draw Structure: $75,000–$150,000 draw against commission

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • Open to Quarterly Travel to New Haven, CT

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, etc.)
  • Experience with Excel modeling or data analysis
