All About You

The Industrial Rick Manager is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of an effective risk management program. This position will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with the company's operations and will work closely with other departments in the company to ensure that activities are conducted safety and in compliance with applicable regulations. The Industrial Risk Manager will be in charge of the integrity management program (safety critical barriers management).

Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent in safety, environmental, or engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Industrial Risk Management
  • A thorough understanding of applicable industrial safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in the battery industry
  • Experience using risk analysis tools, implementing industrial safety programs and training employees on industrial safety
  • Problem resolutions skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Fluency in French (preferred)
Responsibilities
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate major risks (fire, explosion, pollution and toxicity) associated with the company's operations.
  • Develop and implement an industrial risk management program, including the critical safety barriers.
  • Work closely with other departments in the company to ensure that activities are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Determine action plans required to manage industrial risks.
  • Represent the Site's Technology Risk management activities vis-a-vis the Saft and TotalEnergies and authorities (DREAL, Prefecture, EPA, local government agencies, etc.).
  • Coordinates inspections, replies and endorses the letters and studies sent in their field (Environment regulation, Group audit, etc.).
  • Manages process safety risk analyses by ensuring that specialist resources (internal and/or outsourcing) are available and competent. Ensures that the Safety actions of the Priority and Critical Processes with regard to the major accident and/or the maintenance of authorizations are taken into account.
  • Develops the methodological skills of its employees and the skills to manage technological risks within the site by organizing the dissemination of best practices and a process safety culture on the platform.
  • Guarantor of the site safety management system and, together with the relevant HSE department heads, validates the change requests on the Industrial Risk aspect.
  • Will propose the reporting elements to meet the various requirements in its field (regulatory, normative, indicators relevant to the activity, etc.).
