Job Description

Sika is looking for an experienced Research Technician to join our team.ย 

  • Assist DOE, DFMEA to facilitate transfer of new products into production
  • Assist in Pilot runs
  • Work on assigned projects independently
  • Understand equipment manual and is able to use equipment to its capabilities
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment required for project work
  • Independent customer specification testing
  • Support product maintenance lab work
  • Write technical reports independently
  • Leads IATF 16949 calibration and documentation
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and 7+ years' experience in thermoplastics, thermosets in automotive OEM market or College degree in General Sciences
  • Good oral communication and writing skills
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point or equivalent
