Company Overview

Job Summary:

The Operations and Market Readiness Associate supports the transition of new wind farms, solar farms, and battery energy storage plants from construction to commercial operation. The role focuses on ISO/RTO market registration, operational readiness, compliance, and cross-functional coordination between construction, IT/OT, and asset management teams. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Operations and Market Readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform steps in market registration process for LRE assets across ISO/RTO regions. For example, submit information into ISO/RTO systems and interact with ISO/RTO personnel.

Coordinate with LRE's construction, transmission, and operations teams to align EPC schedules with ISO/RTO milestones such as back-feed, testing, and commercial operations date requirements.

Support market readiness activities and project turnover to Asset Management.

For all assets in operational fleet, maintain market registrations including by submitting any required documentation.

Support market participant and QSE certifications activities in applicable regions.

Coordinate access to market portals.

Collaborate with Asset Management regarding requests from PPA off-takers and lenders for information about market registrations.

Help develop documentation and processes for transitioning assets from construction to operations.

As directed, monitor ERCOT, ISO/RTO stakeholder proceedings, and regulatory proceedings at PUCT and FERC.

Maintain organized records of program documentation, procedures, and readiness activities.

Qualifications:

Required:

2-4 years of experience in ISO market registration, regulatory reporting, energy operations, or asset onboarding.

Experience with ISO operational/regulatory requirements.

Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Bachelor's degree.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred:

Understanding of EPC schedules and project milestone tracking preferred.

Experience commercializing renewable energy assets.
