Job description

Graduate Engineer I, Energy
Halff has an immediate opening for a Graduate Engineer in the Richardson, TX office with our Energy team. The ideal candidate for this position will have demonstrated experience working in a team environment, taking responsibility for the details and will continue learning. This position presents an excellent opportunity for career development, offering the potential for business and personal growth, and even ownership in the firm.
What you will do:
  • Work within a large team environment
  • Assist with designing energy production, gathering, processing, treating, compression, and pipelines
  • Design engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
  • Perform schematic design work
  • Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
  • Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors and contractors
  • Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable Driving Record
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with all types of people and skills to get the job done
