Duration: 12 months contract possible extension
Description:

  • Client is seeking an Energy Engineer to join its Business Energy Services Programs team.
  • They are looking for someone who has been in the seat and we can look for key words such as energy efficiency calculations . Their educational background may include degrees in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  • This position is designated to support major customer accounts, conduct energy audits, perform project inspections, provide customer education, manage projects, perform community outreach and develop energy efficiency contract proposals.

What You ll Do:

  • Review and verify technical merits of business customer energy efficiency applications, including calculation of energy savings and verification of equipment specifications
  • Perform customer site inspections to verify the installation of energy efficient equipment at utility commercial and industrial businesses
  • Develop request for proposals to support energy efficiency projects
  • Interact with customers to address questions or concerns about the installed equipment or program information
  • Conduct facility walk-throughs to identify energy efficiency opportunities and generate a corresponding energy report
  • Conduct community outreach including program presentations to inform customers of energy efficiency incentive offerings
