About the Role:
As an HSE Intern, you will assist with checking that safety and security equipment are in compliance with requirements and help establish the site "Health, Safety, Security and Environment" operation procedures and oversee their application.
Seeking candidates available for a full-time internship for Summer 2026.
Responsibilities Include:
  • You will ensure that all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented
  • You will carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey
  • You will carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it
  • You will assist in implementing and monitoring action relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by the inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account.
  • You will update and complete Safety Data sheets, plus ergonomic and PPE assessments
  • You will review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions

What You Should Have
  • You should be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an environmental or occupational safety related field (i.e. Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field) OR a recent graduate April/May 2025 graduate of one of these types of programs
  • You preferably have completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA
