Job description

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a dedicated resource supporting students’ well-being and educational development. This contract position offers the chance to lend your expertise as an itinerant School Psychologist (LSSP) for the 2026–2027 school year, working across multiple sites in the Houston area. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, students, and families, making a positive and lasting impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current State Licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
  • Valid Licensed Psychologist credentials
  • Experience or strong interest in assessment, counseling, and intervention within the K-12 setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different campuses
  • Skills in collaboration, problem-solving, and confidential documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for services
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address student needs
  • Deliver evidence-based counseling and interventions as needed
  • Support the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and mental health support
