Job description

Hourly Pay Range:
$20.69 - $30.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
  • Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL
  • Per Diem - As Needed
  • Hours: As Needed - Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 5:30pm - rotating weekday and weekends on-call

What you will do:
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, prepares the GI area and patients for procedures. In conjunction with the registered nurse, coordinates necessary procedures for efficient turnaround of procedure rooms and serves as technical support to physician and nurse in assigned procedure rooms. Ensures equipment is cleaned following established aseptic techniques. Stocks routine supplies, assists in Endoscopic procedures as directed, and performs related clerical duties.
What you will need:
Required:
  • High-school diploma or GED
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Minimum one year of previous Endoscopy, surgical tech or technical level healthcare-related experience

Preferred:
  • Certified gastroenterology associate/technician preferred but will train motivated candidate
