Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Outpatient Diagnostics (Endoscopy) position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least 1 year of GI/Endo or pre/post experience and active OK or Compact RN licensure.

  • Outpatient Diagnostics (Endoscopy) unit in a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule: 4x10s, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
  • 13-week contract
  • No call requirements
  • No floating requirements

  • Light blue scrubs provided by the facility
Requirements
  • Active OK RN license or Compact RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled
  • Minimum 1 year of recent GI/Endoscopy or pre/post experience required
  • Valid U.S. Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
  • No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
  • Endoscopy experience strongly preferred; at minimum, pre/post experience is required
  • Ability to circulate endoscopy procedures, work in pre-op, and work in recovery is preferred
  • Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability for patient care delivery
  • Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
  • Flu vaccination is required for all travelers; exemptions must be client-approved
  • Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
  • Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate and are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this location
