Registered Nurse ( Full-Time)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ensuring a high standard of nursing care to patients, working within company policies and procedures.

· Setting, monitoring, and maintaining excellent standards of nursing care .

· Maintaining personal contact with patients and relatives, privacy and ensuring a friendly environment.

· Pre-op and post-op duties during patient admission, recovery, and discharge processes.

· Maintaining timely and accurate nursing records and ensuring patient confidentiality is respected at all times.

· Storing, checking, and administering drugs in accordance with established standards and guidelines.

· Stocking, and inventory management of nursing supplies and medications

· Restocking of the anesthesia cart end of the day

· Ensuring the safe discharge of all patients from the Endoscopy unit.

· Maintain a safe and clean environment within the recovery and nursing area in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

· Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians

· Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone

· Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (AAAHC, OSHA & HIPAA)

Qualifications

· Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure

· ACLS, and BCLS Certification required

· Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance

· Candidate must be able to lift and position patients on endoscopy stretchers and transport patients if necessary.
