Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Endoscopy Center Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy ambulatory endoscopy center. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, financial performance, staff development, patient satisfaction, and the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

The ideal candidate will have healthcare administration experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC), endoscopy center, or similar outpatient surgical environment and will be comfortable working closely with physicians, clinical leadership, staff, vendors, and executive management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of the endoscopy center.
  • Supervise staff, patient flow, scheduling, registration, medical records, and administrative workflows.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff while ensuring appropriate staffing and coverage.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain survey readiness and support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor operational and financial performance, including budgets, expenses, revenue cycle activities, and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Cycle teams to support financial performance and reimbursement.
  • Oversee facility operations, equipment, supplies, inventory, maintenance, and housekeeping.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure appropriate procurement of supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and implement initiatives to improve the overall patient experience.
  • Address and resolve patient concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, clinical leadership, staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, patient flow, and overall center performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by executive management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous healthcare administration or management experience required.
  • Experience in an ambulatory surgery center, endoscopy center, or outpatient surgical environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience supervising healthcare staff and managing daily facility operations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, compliance standards, and reimbursement processes.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and healthcare information systems.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
