Job description

Mount Nittany Health is seeking BC/BE Anesthesiologists! Join an employed group consisting of 11 physicians and 20+ CRNA's that provide coverage at Mount Nittany Medical Center, a 260-bed acute care facility in State College, PA.  State College offers all of the luxuries of a college town-including short commutes, NCAA Sports, Arts, high quality schools and outdoor recreation abounds with beautiful hiking and biking trails. Community based medicine is a plus! The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.

The Position:

  • 1 Hospital: Mount Nittany Medical Center

    • 12 total OR's, 1 OB OR suite, 4 Endo/GI suites

  • 1 Off-Site Surgery Center: Mount Nittany Health Surgical Center

    • 4 ORs, 1 Procedure Room

  • 1 Off-Site Endoscopy Center: Mount Nittany Health Outpatient Endoscopy Center

    • **Opening June 2026**

    • 4 Procedure Rooms

  • 11 FT Anesthesiologists and 20+ CRNA's

  • Call is approx. every 5-6 days (Mix of first call and 2nd/back up call) 

  • CRNA Medical Direction Model

  • Major Service lines include: General, GU, OB, Spine, ENT, GYN, Plastic, Ortho, Vascular 

  • Healthy Pediatric Cases (mainly ENT cases)

  • No Open-Heart Surgery and No Heads 

  • EMR: Meditech with transition to Epic in May 2026!

Compensation Package:

  • W2: $530-560k + benefits and a $20k annual quality bonus

  • PTO: 9 weeks

  • CME: 1 week

  • Holiday: 64 hours (8 days) / year

  • CME allowance $3,500 annually 

  • Sign-on bonus:  $50k over 3 years
