Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Dental Assistant to join our Endodontic practice. In this role, you will support the Endodontist in providing high-quality patient care in a professional and efficient manner. You will be responsible for assisting with patient procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist the Endodontist during various procedures, including root canals, surgeries, and other specialized treatments.
-Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all materials are available for procedures.
-Take digital X-rays and ensure the correct processing of radiographs - will assist with obtaining license if necessary.
-Review patient records and update medical histories.
-Ensure patient comfort throughout their treatment by providing assistance and addressing concerns.
-Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene techniques.
-Maintain a clean and sterile environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient procedures, treatments, and progress.
-Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required; Dental Assisting certification preferred.
-Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and procedures, specifically in Endodontics.
-Proficiency with digital X-ray systems and dental software.
-Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and team members.
