Job description

Mercy Endocrinology in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join their established and growing outpatient practice. This role offers a highly sustainable clinical model with procedural options, strong team support, and an excellent quality of life. The successful candidate will join a collegial team within an integrated health system, focusing on outpatient care with minimal call responsibilities.

Practice Info

  • Growing and established, collegial outpatient practice
  • Team includes three endocrinologists, four physician assistants, and dedicated support staff with a 1:1 medical-assistant model
  • Offers in-house laboratory services
  • Strong referral base
  • Hospital diabetes care is managed by hospitalists
  • Minimal call, with most initial calls triaged through an experienced PA

Responsibilities

  • Perform thyroid ultrasound and ultrasound-guided FNA biopsies for physicians who enjoy procedures

Compensation

  • Integrated health system with a competitive income guarantee and productivity model to follow, typically in the 90th percentile
