Job description

Job Title: End User Services Specialist


Location: Chattanooga, TN 37402
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Type: W-2 Contract
Pay Rate Range: $31.00/Hour
 


Position Summary:

The End User Services Specialist will provide high-level technical support and provisioning for end-user hardware, software, and related services within a dynamic IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate has prior experience supporting enterprise users directly and is skilled in troubleshooting and deploying both standard and custom applications.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual installation of non-packaged software, including COTS and internally developed applications.

  • Ensure change management approvals are documented prior to deployment.

  • Deliver timely, courteous, and effective technical support to end users regarding software, hardware, and peripherals.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and their resolutions in accordance with incident and knowledge management standards.

  • Prioritize and manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities while keeping users and stakeholders informed of progress.


Qualifications:Education:
  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems or related field OR 2 years of professional IT experience.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in End User Services or End User Support.

  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop applications and hardware.
