What is an Encoded Therapeutic?

An Encoded Therapeutic refers to a type of advanced treatment that uses genetic engineering to deliver therapeutic genes or proteins directly to a patient's cells. These therapies are designed to precisely address the underlying causes of diseases at the molecular level, often through the use of viral vectors or other delivery systems. Encoded Therapeutics, Inc. is a biotechnology company specializing in these kinds of gene therapies, particularly for neurological disorders. This innovative approach aims to provide long-lasting or even curative effects for genetic diseases that currently have limited treatment options.
