Job description

An Encapsulation Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining encapsulation equipment used in the production of capsules. This role ensures products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and adjust encapsulation machines according to production specifications.
  • Monitor equipment performance and make minor mechanical adjustments to maintain efficiency.
  • Inspect capsules for quality, weight, appearance, and consistency.
  • Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Accurately complete production records, batch documentation, and equipment logs.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major mechanical problems to maintenance.
  • Follow GMP, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
