CorrectHealth currently has an exciting  opportunity to join our growing team as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Macon, GA!

CorrectHealth is a multi-disciplinary medical organization that provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare inside the walls of correctional facilities. The foundation of our company was established by a group of talented ER professionals. Brick by brick, we have been building our company from the ground up. In doing so, we have developed the right way - the "Correct Way" as we like to call it - of providing correctional healthcare.

Currently, CorrectHealth provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare services inside the walls of more than 40 correctional facilities throughout Georgia and Louisiana, 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist in providing health care to inmates.
2. Assist in performing intake physical examinations to all newly
incarcerated inmates.
3. Assist in the passing of medications to inmates.
4. Assist in responding to medical emergencies.
5. Advise appropriate personnel on any inmates that need to be
classified as a medical risk.
6. Comply with Medical Department directives pertaining to
bloodborne and airborne pathogens and the disposal of
contaminated materials and supplies.
7. Practice proper medical record keeping.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required License or Certification: EMT

Current certification to practice as a EMT in the state of employment. American Heart Association BLS. American Heart Association ACLS. Knowledge and ability to perform emergency care within scope of practice.
