Location: Must be available to work out of any of our station locations in Wisconsin: Madison, Sun Prairie, Middleton, Lake Mills, Janesville, Deerfield, and Fort Atkinson
EMT: $22.00 - $24.04 per hour
AEMT: $23.00 - $25.13 per hour
Employment Types: Full Time
Shifts Available: Multiple shift options including Rotational 24/72 shift

EMT Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with your fellow EMTs, Paramedics, and management to assure top tier patient care.
  • Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.
  • Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations as an Emergency Medical Technician.
  • Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
  • Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all state and city protocols.
  • Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities and hospitals by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures as an Emergency Medical Technician.
  • Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
  • Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
  • Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
  • Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
  • Other tasks as assigned

EMT Requirements:
  • WI EMT Certification (EMT-Basic or Advanced-EMT)
  • Driver's License (minimum of 2 years) and an acceptable driving record
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) with American Heart Association
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Tech-savvy or comfortable with using technology
  • Able to work on a team
  • Respectful of colleagues, patients, and leadership
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull at least 125 lbs
  • Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test
