Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Portneuf Medical Center (PMC) is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma Center and tertiary referral hospital, and is home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue. PMC has a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, an adult intensive care unit, nationally recognized orthopedic services, a full suite of cardiac care, Center of Excellence recognized surgeons, imaging, primary and specialty care.

Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative and/or clerical support to ED Director/Manager.
  • Under the general direction of the charge nurse(RN) and Medical control.
  • Provides EMR support to Staff.
  • Assist the department in day-to-day operations.
  • Assists in smooth patient flow throughout the Emergency Department, while functioning as the focal communication source.
  • Works on special projects as needed/requested

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • EMT certification.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Electronic medical records software.
  • Ability to work varied shifts.
