Job description

JOB DETAILS:

Standard work schedule to be provided by leader.
Salary Range
$20.05- $23.30 Per Hour
JOB SUMMARY:
Expedite Caterpillar Morton backorder parts. Review and release backorders as needed working closely with Inventory control. Support Service department as needed. Help maintain daily backorder report.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Expedite assigned Morton back orders.
  • Avoid customer service delays.
  • Handle all orders within required deadlines and cut-off times.
  • Manage Parts Kits and Shop HUC areas in support of the warehouse and service departments.
  • Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures and standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review and adjust backorders.
  • Follow-up on items not received from CAT depots.
  • Handle customer billing of special handle orders.
  • Work with warranty claims office to submit claims.
  • Maintain daily activity log on all calls and e-mail communications.
  • Prepare assigned reports as required.
  • Works within and promotes corporate values.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Must have interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customer and to solve customer problems in a professional manner.
  • Must have math skills sufficient to effectively perform job duties.
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • years' experience working with CAT equipment parts.
  • Prefer some parts experience.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
