Job Overview

This role supports production teams by managing logistics, safety, maintenance, and personnel for stack source testing. The compensation range is $90,000 - $110,000 annually.

Responsibilities
  • Follow established procedures and processes to support consistent and reliable source testing.
  • Engage in the safety culture and oversee local office safety training and compliance in line with the Corporate Safety Team’s lead.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Stack Senior Field Technicians, Field Technicians, Shop Managers, and Shop Coordinators.
  • Promote team building, employee retention, recruiting, and morale.
  • Review and approve Workday timesheets and expenses for direct reports.
  • Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents to execute initiatives and monitor compliance at the local office level.
  • Ensure the field test team is staffed appropriately for all tasks and lead, train, and mentor field team personnel.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of stack testing experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience managing local office asset maintenance, including predictive maintenance, inventories, repairs, calibrations, and shop organization/cleanliness (test equipment, gas cylinders, trucks, trailers, etc.).
  • Performed annual employee performance reviews and provided compensation input and promotion recommendations.
  • Assisted with inter-regional support of personnel and equipment.
  • Managed vehicle and trailer fleet operations (tags, registration, Dangerous Goods Bills of Lading, inspections, safety equipment, ELD/Telematics).
  • Knowledge of EPA source test methods, air quality or emission monitors, and related procedures.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally and out-of-town with overnight stays as required.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

The role requires working outdoors in industrial settings, including climbing to and working on elevated platforms (50 ft – 300 ft) in accordance with OSHA/ANSI and other safety standards. Candidates must be able to exert moderate physical effort, lift up to 50 lb, and work in hot, cold, or extreme weather conditions. Duties also include sitting, standing, and walking.
