What does your day look like at Partner?

The Veterinary Assistant's emphasis is on tasks related to team and patient care, plus pet family support. Additional daily tasks include patient handling, assisting team members with treatments, maintaining surgical and anesthesia equipment, cleaning and restocking supplies, and accurately entering service charges in the processing database.


You will work with unique and varied cases, and you have the resources to enable optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year Veterinary Assistant experience in an emergency or critical care setting
  • Understanding of veterinary workflows and procedures
  • Exposure to, or knowledge of Fear-Free techniques and philosophies preferred
  • A curious and motivated energy
  • Interest in collaborating with the teams across the Partner network


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to quickly process, analyze, and react to unplanned and emergent medical situations without delay, so as to ensure the safety of team members and patients
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours with limited breaks
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance
