Position: Radiologist - Emergency & Trauma Radiologist- Day Shift/Onsite

                                                                                 

Practice: Progressive Physician Associates (PPA) is a large interdisciplinary private practice group of over 100 providers that includes Diagnostic Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons and Advanced Practitioners. We are the exclusive service provider for St. Luke's University Health Network (SLUHN) in Lehigh Valley, PA. We are proud to partner with SLUHN to support their Radiology Residency Program.

Our Network: SLUHN, is a growing regional/tertiary network of 15 hospitals, specialty clinics and imaging centers serving the Lehigh Valley community in Northeastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. We are an Academic institution with extensive residency and fellowship programs as well as a Medical School.  As a GE show site, the network offers state of the art, standardized equipment across network hospitals and imaging sites, as well as a unified PACS system.

Who we are seeking:

PPA is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained radiologist to join our expanding Emergency and Trauma Imaging Division. Our group provides 24/7/365 emergent imaging interpretations for 15 hospital sites in PA and NJ, including one Level 1 Trauma Center, and 2 Level 2 Trauma Centers, with close collaboration alongside associated trauma services. We are a hybrid private/academic practice with a 28-resident Radiology Residency program, offering meaningful opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and academic participation.

We are seeking a daytime emergency radiologist to work onsite with residents from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility for some evening and remote shifts to support work-life balance. Emergency Radiologists will be responsible for interpreting all emergency department imaging modalities, with an emphasis on CT and ultrasound. PPA is committed to high-quality reporting with reasonable volume expectations and has integrated AI technology, including fracture and nodule detection and automated impression support. We also provide 24/7 liaison support to help manage phone communication and minimize interruptions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong career interest in Emergency Radiology, thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy resident education, and value collaborative academic work with emergency medicine and trauma colleagues. The ability to interpret CTA stroke studies and MRI is preferred but not required.

 

Qualifications:
  • ABR certification, medical licensure/eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
