Job description

Position Overview

Villa Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to support our multi‑unit operations across Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and LaGuardia Airport (LGA).

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance programs across all three airport locations.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance of kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facility infrastructure.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues and provide on‑call support as needed.
  • Coordinate with airport authorities, vendors, contractors, and restaurant management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Track maintenance projects, work orders, and equipment performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize operational downtime.
  • Manage vendor relationships and maintenance‑related expenses.
  • Lead and support maintenance personnel and contractors when applicable.
What You’ll Need
  • Previous maintenance management experience in a multi‑unit restaurant, hospitality, airport, or commercial facilities environment.
  • Licensed and certified maintenance professional preferred.
  • Refrigeration certification and welding experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to travel regularly between EWR, JFK, and LGA locations.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
Position Details
  • Salary: $90,000 annually
  • Schedule: 5 days per week
  • On‑call availability required for emergency situations
  • Candidate may be based in either New York or New Jersey
