Job description

The Department of Radiology of the Mount Sinai Health System is seeking three additional Radiologists to join its expanding Emergency/Overnight Radiology service. This role offers the opportunity to join a team of 12 FTEs, contributing to a world-class health system equipped with state-of-the-art radiography, ultrasound, and CT. Candidates will benefit from a flexible remote schedule and significant opportunities for leadership and career development within an academic medical system.

Practice Info

  • Join a team of 9 FTEs expanding to 12 FTEs
  • Hospitals have dedicated residency and fellowship programs
  • Equipped with state-of-the-art radiography, ultrasound, and CT
  • Shifts are split covering 6 hospitals in the Mount Sinai Health System
  • 4 attendings on per evening
  • Excellent residents at all sites who prelim the majority of studies

Responsibilities

  • Schedule remote shifts with extreme flexibility
  • Read CT, XR and US
  • Perform occasional checks on MRIs for emergent findings
  • Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues

Compensation

  • Compensation range from $460,000 to $510,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
  • Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need
  • The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits

Shift & Schedule

  • 1 week on 2 weeks off average

Requirements

  • Strong background in general radiology, including neuroradiology and body imaging
  • Medical Degree from an accredited program
  • New York State Medical License/ Active NYS DEA
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven department
