Work EnvironmentFlight simulation centers, training facilitiesFlight schools, aircraft, training aircraft
Industry UsageAirlines, pilot training programsFlight training schools, private aviation

Emergency Flight Simulators are specialized training devices used to prepare pilots for in-flight emergencies, often operated in simulation centers. Flight Instructors teach pilots and students in actual aircraft or simulators, focusing on flight skills and safety. While both roles require FAA certifications, Emergency Flight Simulators focus on emergency scenarios in simulated environments, whereas Flight Instructors provide comprehensive flight training. Both are essential in pilot education but serve different training purposes.
