Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Strong system level EMC expertise for Aircraft / Avionics / Electrical systems.
• Hands on experience in EMC qualification and certification activities.
• EMI/EMC analysis and mitigation capability, including grounding, bonding, shielding, filtering
• Experience supporting airworthiness authorities / certification audits
• Exposure to full aircraft EMC compliance programs
• Experience with electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS)
• Knowledge of HIRF and Lightning indirect effects requirements
• Familiarity with EMC simulation or analysis tools
• Prior experience in multi-national aerospace programs
• Understanding of environmental qualification beyond EMC.
• Own system level EMC/EMI engineering for aircraft, avionics, and electrical systems.
• Define and execute EMC compliance strategies across design and certification phases.
• Develop, review, and approve EMC test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Support and witness EMC qualification testing at accredited laboratories.
• Perform EMI risk analysis and drive effective mitigation solutions.
• Collaborate with design, avionics, and installation teams to embed EMC best practices.
• Act as technical focal point for EMC topics with customers, suppliers, and authorities.
• Support airworthiness certification reviews and audits.
