About AgSwag


AgSwag is the provider of the best custom swag in agriculture, offering custom embroidery, screen printing, promotional products, original AgSwag custom designs and more. Products AgSwag offers ranges from Carhatt Coolers to Nike Polos to Seed Depth Tools. We provide swag for the top companies in agriculture. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our in-house production capabilities with new Barudan commercial embroidery machines.. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating quality products, solving problems, and taking ownership of a production process from start to finish.


Position Summary


As the Lead Embroidery Production Specialist, you'll take ownership of AgSwag's embroidery department. You'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our commercial Barudan embroidery machines, setting up production jobs, ensuring exceptional quality, and helping establish efficient production processes as our embroidery capabilities continue to grow.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than just operating machines, you'll have the chance to shape the department, improve workflows, and become the go-to embroidery expert on our production team.


What You'll Do


Embroidery Production:

  • Set up embroidery jobs for production
  • Hoop hats, apparel, bags, and specialty products
  • Operate commercial Barudan embroidery machines safely and efficiently
  • Monitor stitch quality throughout production
  • Troubleshoot thread breaks, registration issues, machine errors, and production challenges
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet AgSwag's quality standards
  • Complete production orders accurately and on schedule


Artwork & Digitizing

  • Prepare embroidery-ready production files
  • Make edits to embroidery files as needed
  • Digitize logos and artwork (preferred but not required, willing to pay for training)
  • Work with our design team to ensure artwork translates well into embroidery


Machine Maintenance

  • Perform daily, weekly, and preventative maintenance on Barudan embroidery machines
  • Change needles, maintain thread paths, and keep equipment operating efficiently
  • Identify and resolve maintenance issues before they affect production
  • Coordinate service when major repairs are needed


Inventory & Organization

  • Monitor inventory of thread, stabilizers, needles, bobbins, backing, and embroidery supplies
  • Help maintain organized production schedules and workspaces
  • Notify management when materials need to be reordered
  • Keep the embroidery department clean, organized, and production-ready


Team Support

  • Collaborate with other production departments as needed
  • Help improve production workflows and efficiency
  • Contribute ideas that improve quality, organization, and turnaround times


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift boxes
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements
  • Comfortable working around commercial production equipment


Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Mondayโ€“Friday
  • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


No Barudan experience? No problem, we're willing to train the right candidate with commercial embroidery experience.
