Production Assistant – Embroidery & Apparel Decoration


QuickStitch Plus LLC | Columbus, Ohio


Part-Time | Variable Hours Based on Production Needs


QuickStitch Plus is looking for a hands-on Production Assistant to support our in-house apparel decoration and fulfillment operations. This position works across embroidery, screen printing, heat pressing, order preparation, finishing, and packing based on daily production needs.

We are seeking someone who takes ownership of their work, pays close attention to detail, works efficiently, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to keep production moving.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate embroidery, heat press, screen printing, and other production equipment as trained.
  • Review work orders and prepare garments and materials accurately.
  • Assist with embroidery setup, hooping, thread changes, and production.
  • Check in incoming apparel and verify items and quantities.
  • Count, sort, and stage garments for production.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Fold, trim, finish, pack, and box completed orders.
  • Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance according to SOPs.
  • Keep production areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Identify problems or discrepancies and communicate them promptly.
  • Record production progress and updates as required.
  • Assist with other production and fulfillment duties based on workload and priorities.
  • Take ownership of assigned work from setup through completion.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in embroidery, screen printing, heat pressing, apparel decoration, or production preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
  • Ability to follow work orders and production instructions accurately.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to adjust priorities as production needs change.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and work with different garment and fabric types.


Physical & Schedule Requirements
  • Primarily part-time with variable hours based on production volume and workload.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, move boxes and garments, and perform repetitive production tasks.


Compensation & Benefits
  • $15–$18 per hour, depending on experience.
