Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Director, Interoperability Engineering to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient interoperability solutions that meet the needs of the business. This position requires a deep understanding of API design, development, and management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure our interoperability solutions are robust, secure, and easy to use.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interoperability solutions, largely API-based, to support various applications and services.
Architect and implement integration solutions to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of integration solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API and integration services.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API development and integration.
Design and create robust interfaces to integrate a variety of systems and technologies to solve business problems and create scalable solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience as an API Developer and Architect.
Strong knowledge of API design principles and best practices.
Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
Familiarity with API management tools and platforms.
Strong understanding of integration patterns and interoperability standards.
