As an Embedded Systems Engineer (C++), you will play a key role in designing and developing the embedded platforms that power our advanced optical and measurement devices. What You'll Do

  • Design and develop embedded firmware and electronics for advanced measurement systems.

  • Create and maintain performance-critical C++ software for embedded Linux environments.

  • Develop low-level drivers and hardware interface components.

  • Build and execute automated unit and integration testing within CI/CD environments.

  • Apply secure development principles and Security-by-Design practices.

  • Support hardware lifecycle management, including component replacement and BSP/driver updates.

  • Maintain and enhance existing embedded Linux and bare-metal firmware platforms.

  • Analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot system behavior, and drive continuous improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Product Development, Project Management, and technical leaders around the globe.

What You'll BringRequired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience developing embedded products from concept through production.

  • Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ development and real-time systems.

  • Experience working with embedded Linux platforms.

  • Knowledge of microcontroller-based system design and development.

  • Experience integrating sensors, signal processing, and power management solutions.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. The compensation range for this role is $95,000 - $100,000 USD per year.This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
