As an entry-level embedded systems engineer, you carry out your duties under the supervision of an experienced embedded systems engineer to learn the necessary responsibilities and skills for the job. Entry-level embedded systems jobs include tasks that focus on hardware and software design and the components that go along with them. You design, troubleshoot, and test hardware and software, electronic circuits, mechanical equipment and machines, and other systems related to computers and computer equipment. Entry-level embedded systems engineer roles are usually for recent or soon-to-be graduates of a bachelor’s degree program in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field.

Description
Sun-Maid Growers of California is currently looking for a skilled entry level or journeyman electrician to add to our growing team. In this role, it will be your job to repair and install electrical systems. We'll ask you to perform these tasks for an Industrial Facility.
As a journeyman electrician, you will be asked to complete a wide variety of tasks. You should be able to perform inspections and conduct assessments of electrical systems. You should also be able to read blueprints and interpret them to determine the best way to solve problems in an electrical system. To accomplish all of this, you will need to have a deep familiarity with wiring, commonly used electrical tools, and various components. We're hoping to hire an entry level or journeyman electrician who has already completed an electrician apprenticeship, but we are open to considering the right candidate who has not.

The Electrician shall be responsible for:
Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints
Installing electrical conduits, cables, and tubing
Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Performing work from tall heights and on mobile man lifts
Climbing ladders, scaffolding and stairs
Performing electrical work in adverse weather conditions and temperatures
Using and maintaining hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, and drills
Use a variety of tools and techniques to repair and maintain electrical systems
Use your knowledge to determine the best way to install new electrical systems
Diagnosing electrical system malfunctions and failures
Troubleshooting, Critical thinking skills, Decision making skills, Attention to detail, and Researching skills
Ensure that you follow all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines while you work
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of training or experience which has provided a basic working knowledge in the field.
Lockout/tag out procedures and follow all OSHA and company policies and best practices.
Must have basic electrical skills, and the ability to work with basic hand tools.
Learn to read and understand basic blueprints, schematics, repair manuals
Learn to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment
Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good mathematical skills.
Lifting heavy objects
Standing, bending, and crouching for long periods of time
Willing to pursue Certificate in Electrical Technology or Associates in Electrical Engineering
