Embedded Software Engineer 3 – Onsite | Chandler, AZ | $76-$100/hr (W2) | Active DoD Secret Clearance Required

Join Indotronix as an Embedded Software Engineer 3 and play a key role in developing cutting-edge embedded software for launch vehicle systems. This 12-month onsite contract in Chandler, AZ offers you the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders on mission-critical defense projects. If you have a passion for real-time systems and thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, this position is for you.
[Responsibilities]
- Design, develop, and implement embedded real-time software on Linux platforms
- Support requirements analysis, architecture development, detailed design, coding, unit testing, and system integration
- Ensure software meets rigorous industry and security standards
- Participate in collaborative problem-solving within a multi-discipline engineering team
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout the software lifecycle
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related engineering field
- 5-25 years of hands-on experience in embedded software engineering
- Strong proficiency in C++ and C with object-oriented development in Linux environments
- In-depth experience with embedded real-time software, debugging, and testing
- Solid background in RTOS such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, or Yocto Linux
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle
