Job Description:

IERUS Technologies is seeking a FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer to join a diverse and flexible team. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in design and analysis and SDR experience.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test FPGA-based HDL and firmware
  • Support all phases of system and subsystem development activities with upfront analysis, prototyping, development, and validation
  • Hand-on lab testing of hardware
  • Acquisition and analysis of laboratory data
  • Work with/lead a small team of embedded developers to coordinate development capability to meet component development milestones.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience with relevant firmware development
  • Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL for FPGA-based designs
  • Proficiency in C/C++ in embedded environments
  • Familiar with test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes) and software debugging tools
  • Experience in I2C, SPI, RS-232, or other standard communication interfaces
  • Experience working on embedded devices for RF projects preferred
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret DoD security clearance
