Job Title: Embedded System Validation Engineer
Job Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Job Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert product and firmware requirements into structured test plans, validation matrices, and detailed test cases.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, automation frameworks, and overall validation efficiency.
- Preferred knowledge of embedded communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and LIN.
- Diagnose and debug issues across hardware, firmware, OS, drivers, bootloader, and communication interfaces.
- Validate embedded firmware features, peripheral drivers, bootloaders, and system-level software components.
- Experience in developing automated test scripts using Python and Shell scripting is preferred.
- Use debugging tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, JTAG, power analyzer, and protocol analyzers.
- Collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, QA, systems, and manufacturing engineering teams.
- Integration of automated validation workflows into CI pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
