Job description

 

TITLE: Embedded Software Engineer

On-site Work Location: Orlando, FL 

Required: Secret Clearance

W2 Hourly Contract Only 

Schedule: 4/10A-1st Shift

Rate Range: $75.00 - $102.50

*** W2 hourly Contract Only with a possible extension, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C.  

No exceptions (Sorry) Secret Clearance is Required ***

We have an exciting opportunity for a Secret Cleared Embedded Real-time Software Engineer with Ada or C/C++ experience to work in Orlando, Florida.

The candidate will experience all phases of software development, ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing.

The candidate will work Monday through Thursday, 4/10A-1st Shift.

The candidate must already have an active SECRET security clearance.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience: 

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance 
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 8-11+ years of experience, or a master's degree with 6-9+ years of experience 
  • 3+ years of Real-time embedded software development experience using Ada or C/C++ programming language
  • 3+ Integration and test experience involving software and hardware

Desired Skills:

  • Linux/VxWorks operating systems experience
  • Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
  • GitLab CI/CD Pipelines
