THE WORK
The Staff Software Engineer will join the Launchers Software Development group reporting to the Launchers & C-UAS Engineering organization. The candidate will support the maintenance and modification of multiple MK41 Vertical Launching System software products in Moorestown, New Jersey for the Sensors, Effectors, and Mission Systems business.
The candidate will be initially assigned as a software lead for a prominent launcher program, responsible for deliverables for multiple software applications in an overall suite. Responsibilities include technical team leadership, Earned Value and Control Account Management, frequent customer interactions, quarterly in-progress reviews, and risk and change management.
The candidate should additionally be able to directly support software development activities as business conditions dictate. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software configuration management, real-time embedded software development, and software integration and test.
Please Note:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
