Job description

We are seeking an experienced engineer with a passion for embedded software development processes to fill the position of Embedded Software Business Process Architect. Reporting to the Mechatronics Process Manager, this individual will play a key role in supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) and the tools required for product development. The successful candidate must possess strong communication and collaboration skills, along with experience in embedded software development and its supporting processes.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Understand and improve our embedded software development processes by leveraging industry best practices such as ASPICE, DevOps, and CI/CD.

  • Embedded software capability will be evolved and practices will be harmonized across software, systems, validation, quality, and cybersecurity teams.

  • Influence and mobilize multidisciplinary teams without formal authority to foster the adoption of new processes, methods, and tools, by providing training, coaching, and change management to stakeholders.

  • Identify, evaluate, and deploy the tools required to support software development and their integration into the development ecosystem.

  • Lead workshops, facilitate technical discussions, and build consensus among various stakeholder groups.

  • Conduct process reviews, measure their effectiveness, and recommend improvements to increase project quality, compliance, and predictability.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in embedded software development and in the improvement of software development processes, methods, tools, and practices, including their definition, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong knowledge of ASPICE, DevOps, ALM, and requirements management practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and gain stakeholder buy-in without formal authority.

  • Excellent ability to simplify complex technical concepts and tailor the message to different audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) in French and English. Proficiency in English is required for this position, as processes must be documented and communicated for use by other international divisions.
