• Assist with user provisioning, workstation deployments, and site-level hardware standards.
Project Coordination & Implementation
• Lead site-level technology projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Coordinate with corporate developers and infrastructure engineers on larger initiatives.
• Manage timelines, vendor engagement, testing, and deployment activities.
• Evaluate new software and hardware solutions and provide structured recommendations.
• Assist with task estimation, prioritization, ROI evaluation, and project documentation.
Hardware Integration & Operational Support
• Support integration of industrial or facility systems with enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate system integration between hardware platforms and internal software applications.
• Maintain appropriate segmentation between operational and corporate systems.
Security & Compliance Support
• Ensure local systems adhere to corporate cybersecurity policies.
• Support NIST 800-171 and Sarbanes-Oxley-aligned controls in coordination with Corporate IS.
• Assist with audits through documentation, evidence gathering, and change control support.
• Promote secure configuration standards and end-user security best practices.
Business Systems Lead & Reporting
• Participate in the SDLC for waste tracking, procurement, accounting, asset management, and ancillary information systems initiatives.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and SQL Server reports (SQL, SSRS, RDL).
• Partner with operations to develop business requirements, validate system designs, update system documentation, and oversee implementation.
• Assist with data validation, testing, and minor integrations.
Requirements
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or business systems roles; OR a four-year related degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Microsoft ecosystem experience (Windows Server/Client, Active Directory).
• Solid SQL experience (query writing, stored procedures, SSRS development).
• Experience supporting multi-site or distributed operations.
• Ability to manage technical priorities independently in an operational environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Prefered Experience
• Experience in regulated or industrial environments.
• Experience with .NET, Go, JavaScript, C#, or other development environments.
• Familiarity with waste tracking, ERP, or accounting systems.
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals (firewalls, VLANs, VPN).
• Experience coordinating technical projects.
• Understanding of API integrations and data exchange models.
