Job description

Job Overview

Senior Software Engineer – Onsite, U.S.-Citizen, U.S. Person or Authorized Immigration Status. Requires current DoD Secret clearance. Location: Cedar Rapids, IA.

What You Will Do
  • Design and develop cutting‑edge embedded software, networking and communication products.
  • Lead efforts in complex, multi‑threaded embedded software in C++ and Rust.
  • Leverage containerization to streamline software development.
  • Drive project success by directly contributing to requirements, implementation, test development and certification.
  • Lead initiatives and small teams.
  • Guide your team, supporting cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years with embedded software development.
  • 3+ years in C++ or C.
  • Experience with Rust is a plus.
  • Experience in Linux development environments.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Experience with multithreading and networking/communications protocols.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
